What's the difference between a Share Certificate and a Certificate of Deposit (CD)?
In short, not a lot!
Share Certificates are available at credit unions and Certificates of Deposit (CDs) are available at banks. They do the same thing! Both help you grow your money at a fixed rate for a pre-determined length of time, at a rate MUCH higher than traditional savings accounts.
