Skip a loan payment without leaving home. You can submit your Skip-a-Pay
form from anywhere using your mobile device through our banking app — all in a matter of minutes. Simply follow thesteps below.
If you haven’t already, download the Skip-a-Pay form here. You will need to print the form and then fill it out and sign it in pen in order to submit it through the secure online messaging system.
LOG IN & FIND THE SECURE MESSAGING SYSTEM
Next, log in using the FNCU app. From there, you’ll need to navigate to the menu by tapping the icon in the top left corner. When the menu appears, find the “Secure Messaging” tab at the bottom of the list and tap to continue. Depending on your device, you may need to scroll to find it.
BEGIN YOUR MESSAGE
The secure messaging page should appear as shown in the photo on the left below. To begin your message, click the pencil icon, which will open it.
SELECT 'SKIP A PAY'
From the drop down menu above the text box, choose ‘Skip a Pay’ from the options. Depending on your device, you may need to scroll to find it.
ADD YOUR FORM PHOTO
Next, you’ll need to add a photo of the form to your message. By tapping the paperclip button, the app will then prompt you to add a photo. You can either take a photo of the form on the spot, or you can add an existing photo from the pictures on your phone. When taking your photo, please ensure that it is well lit, legible, and the entire form is visible, like the example shown below.
Once the image has been added, you’ll be able to see the file name below the text box. You’ll then need to add a short message in the message body indicating that your message includes the form, such as the example below (the form will not submit without a message in the body). Finally, tap the “Send” button. Please do not travel away from this page until it finishes loading. Sending may take several seconds depending on your device and network connection.
And you’re all set! You will receive an email at the address associated with your FNCU account shortly after submitting confirming the receipt of your secure message.
