Rockford Toy Drive for Rock House Kids
NOW until December 1


All new and unwrapped toys donated at First Northern in Rockford will benefit Rock House Kids, an organization that helps at risk kids and teens who are in need of a safe, warm, and nurturing environment.  Learn more here.

Donations should be for kids ages 6-18 and can include sports equipment, nerf toys, board games, craft sets, Legos, and dolls, to name a few.

In addition, Napleton Autowerks (6600 Riverside Blvd, Loves Park) will host a holiday drop off party with hot chocolate and cookies for all those who donate.  Join us from 10am - 4pm on December 2nd!
 

Evanston Toy Drive for Toys for Tots & Mayor Hagerty's Holiday Food and Toy Drive
NOW until December 14

Donations will go to Evanston families in need through Mayor Stephen Hagerty's 9th annual Holiday Food and Toy Drive.  To ensure every Evanston family gets to celebrate this holiday season, community members can provide food, toys, and financial donations at First Northern or any other participating local business.  Learn more here.

In addition, the Evanston Rising Professionals networking group will host a night of holiday fun at World of Beer (1601 Sherman Ave.) on Thursday, December 14 from 4:30 - 6:30pm.  This will be the final opportunity to donate food and toys.  For every item donated, the donor will get a free beer (up to two beers).  Holiday carol karaoke, an ugly sweater competition, and more festive fun will be had at the event.
 

Chicago Toy Drive for 'Connections of Abused Women and their Children' (CAWC)
Now - December 13

Donations will benefit CAWC, an organization that provides women and their children affected by domestic violence with shelter, counseling, advocacy, and a 24 hour hotline.
