Visa Debit Card Suspicious Transaction Alerts

Starting February 10th, 2025, First Northern Credit Union Visa Debit Card holders may receive text messages in order to verify suspicious transactions. These text messages will only request you reply with a simple YES or NO. If you reply YES, no additional reply will be needed. If you reply NO, you will be asked to call our Fraud Center. Members of our Fraud Center may request identifying information such as full name and full account number. Never provide your Online Password, Any Security Code texted or emailed to you, the CVV (3 Digits on the back of your Card), or PIN.
