Make A Loan Payment

  • Bank elsewhere? Make a one-time payment from your account at another financial institution to a First Northern loan with Web Payment, or set up a Bill Payment from your financial institution to your FNCU loan.
  • Bank with us? Make an internal transfer from your First Northern checking or savings account to your loan. 
  • Complete our ACH Payment form to us to set up a one-time or recurring payment.
  • Visit a local First Northern branch.
  • Visit a shared branch location: Bring your member number and a valid Government-Issued ID.
  • Mail a payment to us at: First Northern Credit Union, 230 W Monroe St Ste 2850, Chicago, IL 60606
  • Use online banking or mobile banking to transfer money from your First Northern account directly to your card.
  • Set up a Bill Payment from your account at another financial institution to your new FNCU card.
  • To make a credit card payment from another financial institution to your First Northern Visa Credit Card, you may initiate the payment from that institution, OR: 
    • Log in to online or mobile banking
    • Choose Visa Credit Card from the left side navigation menu
    • From the Payments menu, click Make a Payment.
    • A pop up will appear if you have not yet set up a payment account. Click Create a Payment Account.
    • Click Add Payment Account. Choose account type and click Next.
    • Enter your account information and click Next.
    • Review the information. If it is correct, click Create Account.
    • You will receive a confirmation message. Click Close and Make Payment or click Make a Payment from the Payments tab.
    • Choose the payment account and click Next.
    • Select or enter the payment amount.
    • Choose the date of the payment and the email to which you will receive alerts.
    • Click Next and verify the information is all correct.
    • Click Make a Payment.
  • Complete and return our Visa ACH Payment form to us to set up a recurring payment.​

  • You can find further information about paying your mortgage via Midwest Loan Services online portal.
  • Use online banking or mobile banking to transfer money from your First Northern Checking or Savings account directly to your mortgage loan.
  • Set up a Bill Payment from your account at another financial institution to your FNCU mortgage. 
  • Visit a local First Northern branch
    • Final payment cannot be made in person. Mortgage loan payoff must be sent directly to Midwest Loan Services via wire or cashier's check.
  • Your monthly billing statement for your mortgage loan will include a payment stub with the appropriate mailing address if you prefer to submit your payment through the USPS.
  • Automatic ACH Payment: You can set up an automatic account withdrawal from a non-First Northern Credit Union account into your First Northern account with our ACH form by completing the form electronically. The transfer will remain in place until you have notified First Northern Credit Union in writing that you wish to discontinue the withdrawal.
