First Northern just updated their mobile banking app to include all features like mobile deposit, online bill pay, and person to person payments all in one place! By simply downloading the First Northern mobile app onto your smartphone, you'll have access to more products and services than ever before. Whether you need to transfer money from First Northern to another financial institution, pay your friend, deposit a check using mobile deposit, or search for branch or atm, you can find it all in one convenient location. Members are also able to open an account, apply for new loans, and more!
First Northern is always looking for ways to make life a little bit easier and more convenient for our members. We are confident First Northern's new mobile app will do just that.
With Mobile Deposit, members can deposit checks into any of their First Northern accounts by using their Apple or Android mobile device.
You can find it by logging into First Northern's mobile app and tapping on "mobile deposit" on the left side of the screen. Simply follow the prompts and your check will be deposited into your First Northern savings, checking, or even certain loans.
Deposits approved before 1:00pm CST will be available after 4:00pm CST. Deposits made after 1:00pm CST will not be processed until the next business day and made available after 4:00pm.
Person to Person Transfers
Now, it's easier than ever to pay your friends and family directly from your First Northern account. To access this feature, login to online banking, click on "Pay a Friend" on the left hand menu, then follow the prompts and enter the appropriate information.
