With Mobile Deposit, members can deposit checks into any of their First Northern accounts by using their Apple or Android mobile device.
To start, members must call a First Northern Member Service Representative in order to retrieve a username and password. Once we verify your identity, we will email you your username and password in order to log into your account. We can be reached at 888-328-8677 option 1, during regular business hours.
In order to begin, you must download the FNCU Deposit app from the Apple or Android App Store. You will then be taken through a series of steps in order to securely register your account.
Once you are fully registered you will choose which First Northern account that you want to deposit your money into. You will then be prompted to take a photo of the front and back of the check to send to us, here at First Northern!
Your check can be deposited into your First Northern savings account, checking account and even certain loans.
Deposits approved before 1:00pm CST will be available after 4:00pm CST. Deposits made after 1:00pm CST will not be processed until the next business day and made available after 4:00pm.
