Despite the rainy weather, our Summer Bash on July 19th turned out to be a wonderful morning in Rockford. Families from across the area joined us from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for a free event filled with laughter, games, and plenty of summer spirit. When the rain came down, we quickly moved everything indoors, and the fun never skipped a beat.
Families enjoyed the fun with face painting and balloon animals that ranged from flowers to grasshoppers and cats. Watching kids have their faces painted brought some summer glow to their faces along with vibrant colors. Anyone that saw the Plinko game set-up wanted to drop a token down into the bottom. Winning a game is always easy at our events and kids were walking away with their hard earned prizes without much trouble. Families stopped by our photo spot to take selfies or group photos, capturing our Summer Bash vibe, giving families a chance to take home memories of the day.
Food was available for everyone to enjoy, adding to the festive atmosphere as guests mingled and took part in the activities. Parents and kids alike found ways to have fun, whether they were trying their hand at games, posing for photos, or enjoying the creative talents of our entertainers.
We want to give a heartfelt thank you to the Rockford community for coming out despite the rain, and to our amazing staff for adjusting so quickly to keep the event running smoothly. Your support and enthusiasm are what make gatherings like our Summer Bash so much fun. We appreciate everyone who helped make the day a success and hope to see everyone back next year (except the rain)!
